TLA Live on the Radio on August 19: Attend or Listen

Next week will be a busy one for the cryptic indie rock outfit The Long Afternoon. Their fourth album, Regression, will be released on Tuesday, August 16 via the usual electronic and physical distribution channels including iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and all the rest.

And on Friday, August 19, all of the organization’s personnel will make a rare group trek outside of its hidden lair to play songs from the new album on the Live @5 program on State College’s 98.7 the FREQ radio station.

We can bring a limited number of people with us to the studio, where you will be plied with food and beverages from Gigi’s in State College. If you are in the State College area on August 19 at 4:00 p.m. and would like to join us, please drop us a line either via our Facebook page, the contact form on this website, or by sending e-mail to [email protected]. First-come, first served.

If you’re not local but would like to hear the group play some of the new songs (and a few older ones) live, you can stream it by visiting the station’s own web site here:  Archived audio should be available on the site after the event, but won’t it be cool to actually catch it as it goes down?  Of course it would!

So we do hope you’ll participate in this phase of our mission, either directly by attending, or remotely by listening.  Or even remote viewing, if you’re into that sort of thing.

The Long Afternoon’s Regression album will be available via iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and other distribution systems on August 16.

Among the tracks we play will be Autoresponder, song 1 on Regression:
